We exist because the structures needed to support ambitious Latin American women builders simply didn't exist. So we built them ourselves.
Alice in Wonderland was born from a simple but urgent observation: Latin America is full of exceptional, ambitious, and creative women — and yet the ecosystem to support them lags far behind. The capital, the mentorship, the operational knowledge, the network — all of it was either inaccessible, unaffordable, or simply not built for them.
We decided to fix that. Not by building another event series or a WhatsApp group, but by creating the actual infrastructure — the company builder, the community, the resources — that founders need to go from idea to funded, operating startup.
Hi, my name is Nela, and I've been (and am) a founder just like you. I've worked in tech for many years (you can stalk me over LinkedIn), till I suddenly realized that there had to be something else, different from the 9–18hs.
Fueled by a deep passion, I started building, and that's when I realized that I didn't have easy access to resources, mentorship, operational knowledge, network, capital, support, structure. Sometimes I heard many NOes, other times I felt I wasn't enough; but always kept going, towards building my own Wonderland, bootstrapping every resource I currently have and deciding to make my own path. It was challenging, yes, but I couldn't be happier.
That's why I created Alice in Wonderland. To give the opportunity to the other Nelas of the world to be brave enough, jump to the unknown, and own their businesses. To help them build their own Wonderlands.
